Rosacea:

Rosacea is an acne-like disease that effects middle age adults. It is an inflammatory skin disorder on the cheeks and the nose. It is unknown what causes rosacea, however, it effects people with fair skin and those of European descent. If left untreated, Rosacea may cause an enlarged, thick, red, swollen nose. Some speculated causes of rosacea are an overactive vascular system, skin mites, hormonal changes, drugs, and genetic and environmental triggers. (Henry S. and Trott M., Take control of rosacea. Prevention Magazine. 107-110:12/92).

Dr. Metcalfe has found that patients respond well when they combine dietary changes along with supplements to prevent further outbreaks.
